Nigerian starlet Yaqub Usman-Malah joins Portugal’s Brito SC

Usman-Malah was born in Nigeria in 2006. Before joining Brito Sporting Club, he was a trainee player and student at Brooke College Football Academy in the United Kingdom.

Brito Sporting Club of Portugal has officially signed 19-year-old Nigerian-born football prodigy Yaqub Usman-Malah.

The unveiling, which took place on January 4, 2025, marks a significant milestone in the young athlete’s promising career.

Prior to this move, Yaqub trained at Brooke House College Football Academy in the United Kingdom, where he recorded an impressive 17 goals in 32 matches.

His dedication, professionalism, and high work rate earned him praise from his coach, Tomasz Wasylik, who described him as a role model to his teammates.

The signing highlighted Brito SC’s commitment to nurturing young talent and positions Yaqub Usman-Malah as a player to watch in the coming seasons.
