Olamide Joins iLLbliss On this Anthemic New Track ’40ft Containers’
For most of 2018, as it’s been every single year since Olamide officially burst onto the music scene, the rapper has kept dropping tracks and hopping on features as if his life depends on it. Clearly not interested in taking a break, he’s now teamed up with iLLbliss on new single, “40ft Containers”.
Produced by Benjamz, “40ft Containers” finds iLLbliss celebrating all the hardworking Igbo men that are making money moves. “Igbo boys we hustler/God bless all my customers/Alaba to Computer Village”, iLLbliss spits on the second verse.
While Olamide doesn’t work as well with any other artist as he does with Phyno (and maybe Wizkid), his synergy with iLLbliss on this track is still pretty palpable. Granted, he isn’t given much to do, but his verse is energetic enough to leave a strong impression.
“40ft Containers” is the first new single iLLbliss has dropped following his lowkey fifth studio album, Illy Bomaye. The anthemic track is definitely a strong start to his new era, and we can’t wait to hear what he gives us next.
