Colourful Video For Teni’s Catchy Tune, ‘Askamaya’ is out
Teni is one of our favourite artists right now, and with every single release, she keeps proving why she deserves to be. A few weeks ago, she released two songs, “Lagos” and the fantastic “Askamaya“, and she’s just dropped a music video for the latter.
The Spellz-produced “Askamaya” is a completely different sound for Teni, which leaves room for her to show off her musical range while still inserting her staple humour into it. It’s one of those songs that will do really well in the party scene.
The colourful video for “Askamaya”, however, isn’t nearly as exciting or inventive as the song itself, as it contains all the trappings of the typical Nigerian video. However, we’re always happy to see Teni on the screen busting a mean shaku shaku!
The ‘Rookie of the Year’ winner is really leaving us no room to forget about her, as she recently released the infectious banger, “Fake Jersey” — a brilliant track that also deserves its own music video as soon as possible.
