Listen to Patoranking and Cap Verdian Singer Djodje Catchy Love Song, ‘Be Mine’

Patoranking is easily one of the most consistent artists we have in Nigeria, and that is why his talent is so widely regarded across Africa. He’s no stranger to featuring on songs from all over the continent, as we saw previously on Sauti Sol’s “Melanin”, and now with Djodje‘s new love song, “Be Mine“.

While the two lack any real synergy on the song, Patoranking manages to stand out, as he sticks to his usual sound. On the song, Patoranking and Djodje bare their feelings, expressing love for their significant others with sweet lyrics like “In good times, in bad times. I’m going to stand by you”.

The accompanying video is a bit confusing, as it shows Djodje and his girlfriend breaking up. Given that the song has such sweet lyrics, we expected a bit more romance but it could just be a true reflection of men being trash and only expressing their feelings out of desperation.
