Afro-House Diva Niniola Delivers Magic On DJ Crowd Kontroller’s New Track, ‘Bam Bam’

When DJs start looking to create their own bangers, the most important decision they have to make is which artist they should collaborate with. For Crowd Kontroller‘s new single, “Bam Bam”, he smartly went with everyone’s favourite afro-house queen, Niniola.

Produced by Benie Macaulay, “Bam Bam” finds Niniola straying a little from her comfort zone, and having a lot more fun in the process. The track lets Niniola try out gqom — the South African house subgenre Patoranking killed on “Available”— and she totally nails it.

While “Bam Bam” isn’t as lyrically astute as Niniola’s tracks tend to be — she spends most of the song’s runtime chanting “give them” — it doesn’t really have to be, as the song was clearly only created to get a crowd moving, and it will definitely accomplish that.

As for Crowd Kontroller, he obviously has an ear for jams. If “Bam Bam” is any indication of what’s to come from him, he might just be joining the ranks of Spinall and Neptune as one of the DJs ruling the airwaves.
