Ycee Wears His Heart On His Sleeve in New Music, ‘Your Love’
Ycee has been having a really productive 2018. Following his first track of the year, the impressive “Say Bye Bye” featuring Eugy, his joint EP with Bella Alubo, Late Night Vibrations, and a couple solid features, the rapper is back with a brand new single: “Your Love”.
Brilliantly produced by The Syn X, “Your Love” is a mid-tempo love song that finds Ycee unabashedly wearing his heart on his sleeve. While it’s a little frustrating that a rapper as good as Ycee is doing more singing these days, it’s hard to be mad when the results are this good.
On the track, which finds Ycee delivering what might be his most effortless vocal performance to date, he sings about a lover he can’t get out of his mind. “You know I remember/ Girl, I just can’t forget your love”, Ycee sings on the catchy chorus.
While “Say Bye Bye” and “Your Love” might not be quite as brilliant as his 2017 monster hit, “Juice” featuring Maleek Berry, they are still really solid singles, and they definitely have us hyped for his upcoming debut album, Ain’t Nobody Badder Than.
