Check Out The Intriguing Trailer of Seyi Shay’s Acting Debut For ‘Lara & The Beat’,

Last year, the producers of the hit supernatural comedy, Banana Island Ghost, announced that they will be releasing a film starring Seyi Shay and Vector: Lara And The Beat.

Following a short teaser which introduced us to the main character, Lara Giwa (played by Seyi Shay, making her acting debut), they’ve finally released a full trailer, and now we really can’t wait to watch it!

Lara And The Beat is a coming-of-age drama, which tells the story of the Giwa Sisters and how their lives are turned upside down. Lara is a socialite and a diva, while her sister, Dara (Somkele Iyamah) seems more calm and level-headed.

After having lived a life of luxury and excess, the sisters are forced out of their privilege, following a scandal with their parents’ media empire. As a result of this, the pair have to find a way to survive, and they decide to do this through music.

The movie has an interesting cast, which includes DJ Xclusive, Saheed Balogun, Chinedu Ikedieze, Bimbo Manuel, Chioma Chukwuka, Deyemi Okanlawon, Sharon Ooja and others. It’s set for release on July 20, and while we were already excited, the new trailer has us even more intrigued.
