DJ Kaywise X Olamide – See Mary See Jesus

One of the best things about all these DJ-helmed bangers is watching them bring together artists you typically wouldn’t expect to collaborate — think Tiwa Savage and Reminisce on DJ Enimoney’s “Diet” — but sometimes, expected pairings are just as effective.

For DJ Kaywise‘s latest single, “See Mary See Jesus”, he goes with the latter, sticking with the tried and tested formula of an Olamideand Young Jonn collaboration.

Well, “See Mary See Jesus” is exactly what you’d expect from a song produced by Young Jonn and performed by Olamide: fast-paced, slightly confusing and immensely danceable. It actually feels like a spiritual sequel to their last collaboration with a DJ: “Assignment”.

Although this year has found Olamide successfully working with a bunch of other producers besides Young Jonn, “See Mary See Jesus” proves, yet again, that no one is able to bring out the Olamide’s infectiously manic energy quite like him.
