Watch Olamide & Falz In The Video For Ric Hassani’s ‘Believe’
Last year, Ric Hassani released his debut album, The African Gentleman, which consisted of standout tracks such as “Only You”, “Police” and “Believe”.
On Valentine’s Day, the singer released a remix for “Believe” featuring Olamide and Falz, which made the song even more enjoyable! The singer has just released a sweet and stunning video for the song, and we love it even more now!

The original song is fitting to the usual Ric Hassani sound, with a super catchy chorus that will demand a toe tap or a head bop. While Ric Hassani is great as usual, Falz’s verse is probably the best part of the song. He raps about how his love affairs are stereotyped in his line of work, and convinces his love interest that it’s not as bad as she would expect, making reference to Joke Silva and Olu Jacobs’ marriage as an example. Olamide brings the heavy Yorubaness into the song, continuing the serenade.
“Believe” has all the trappings of a Nigerian wedding song; soothing harmonies, infectious lyrics and a catchy beat to dance to. This is why it makes sense that the music video is set at a wedding party, where Ric Hassani is the groom to a gorgeous bride, Falz is a groomsman and Olamide is a wedding guest. The video looks exactly like what any Nigerian wedding is today, complete with the dance off and twerking bridesmaids.
Even though the season of love is over, this song is for sure a jam and we expect to hear it played at weddings this year!
