Listen To Tekno’s New Self-Produced Single, ‘Yur Luv’
Since Tekno announced his upcoming EP — which will serve as his first body of work — he has teamed up with Orezi on the forgettable “Whine For Daddy”, tried his hand at the Shaku Shaku craze on “Anyhow”, and now he’s back with a brand new single, “Yur Luv”.
Produced by Tekno himself, “Yur Luv” finds the singer returning to what he does best: singing about women over a mid-tempo beat. While “Yur Luv” is not a bad song, like most of his tracks post-“Rara”, it’s not half as good as the hits that made him a household name.
On the track, Tekno adds Amaka to the long list of women he’s sung about. He promises to be faithful to her and swears that he won’t hurt her — unlike the girl he cheated on in “Yawa”. “Girl, you do me something wey nobody do me oh”, he sings on the hook.
