LISTEN: Tiwa Savage teams up with US star Omarion for ‘Get It Now’ Remix
She teased fans about a potential collaboration with American singer, Omarion, in January — and alas, it’s finally here.
The Mavin Records singer features the former B2K band member on the remix of ‘Get It Now’, a single from her ‘Sugarcane’ EP.
Like on the original track, Tiwa sings to her lover, demanding that he stop simply staring at her and actually take charge.
“The time is running out/You better get it now”, she sings on the chorus, which smartly remains unchanged.
For his contribution, Omarion completely takes over the song’s second verse.
He responds to Tiwa’s wishes saying that if she wants him, she’s actually going to have to get off her butt and make the move. All in all, it’s a nice — albeit completely unnecessary — remix.
