Jay Jay Okocha Has Been Inducted Into The Bundesliga Legends Network

Watching Jay Jay Okocha play football was like watching a magician at work. The former Super Eagles star was so good with tricks you could tell he was enjoying himself each time he entered a game. In addition to the countless goals he scored, those tricks made him the legend he is today. And that’s why he’s just been added to the Bundesliga Legends Network.

The network includes former players in the Bundesliga who made tremendous contributions to the development of the league. In other words, these players were so good the league couldn’t possibly forget them.

A few months ago, former Ghana international player, Anthony Baffoe was inducted into the network alongside eight others. Having received this honour, Okocha is now the second African on the list.

According to the Bundesliga website, the 44-year-old was on every fan’s tongue between 1992 and 1996 after he scored 18 goals and provided 13 assists in 90 unforgettable matches for a team known as The Eagles.
