Patoranking; Adekunle Gold and LAX to fly Nigeria’s flag at SXSW festival

Patoranking, LAX and Adekunle Gold have been listed among the numerous artistes that will perform at the annual SXSW festival.

The South by Southwest is a conglomerate of film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences that take place in Austin, Texas.

A wide array of artistes from Europe, North America, Africa and the Caribbean are expected to perform at the 2018 event.

The Nigerian trio of LAX, Patoranking and Adekunle Gold will perform on March 17 at the ‘Sounds from Africa and the Caribbean’ showcase.

Other performers on the bill are Kojo Funds, AKA, Not3s, The Compozers, Naliah Blackman and Shaker..

Eddie Kadi, Ghanaian comedian, will host the ‘Sounds from Africa and the Caribbean’ showcase.

Some of the other artistes expected to perform at SXSW are August Eve, Avatar Darko, Amy Becker, Black Prophet, Twain, Sarah Klang, and Pussy Riot.

Michigan-based R&B/pop singer of Nigerian origin, Tunde Olaniran, is also listed to perform.
