Jidenna’s Upcoming EP Features Tiwa Savage, Maleek Berry, Burna Boy & Wale

With his incredible debut album, The Chief, still fresh in our collective minds and playlists, Nigerian-American artist Jidenna is set to release an EP that can only be described as a gift from the music gods.

The six-track body of work titled Boomerang features some of the most exciting artists – both home and abroad – working today, including Tiwa Savage, Maleek Berry, Burna Boy, Wale, Sarkodie, Quavo and more.

Just a few days ago, while in Lagos for a concert, Jidenna gushed over Tiwa Savage’s own EP,Sugarcane, claiming it’s “been on loop the entire day”. Well, we are pretty sure we’ll share the same sentiment when Boomerang finally drops – especially when we hear their collaboration, “Spy Candy”.

While the EP has a couple fresh tracks that look exciting, we are particularly hyped for what looks like remixes to two of The Chief’s standout tracks: “Bambi Too” featuring Maleek Berry, Quavo & Sarkodie and “Little Bit More Remix” featuring Burna Boy.

Jidenna didn’t say when exactly the EP will drop – he only released the stunning cover art and tracklist on social media – but according to Maleek Berry’s Instagram post, we should expect it tomorrow. We honestly can’t wait!
