These 10 Nollywood Films Have The Kunle Afolayan Seal Of Approval

With seven solid feature films under his belt, director, producer and screenwriter Kunle Afolayan – son of Nollywood legend, Adeyemi Josiah Afolayan – has rightfully earned his place as one of the greatest Nigerian filmmakers working today.

In the past eight years since his debut, The Figurine, we’ve seen the filmmaker skillfully alternate between thrillers, romantic-comedies, period pieces and dramas, proving himself to not only be very hardworking but incredibly versatile.

So, we at Naijalife decided to ask this monumental filmmaker to name his 10 favourite Nollywood films of all time. Ranging from a bunch of classic Yoruba movies to a couple of his own movies (deservedly), Kunle Afolayan’s list is a collection of the best Nollywood has to offer.
