The rate of avoidable deaths in Nigeria makes us wonder where the billions of naira budgeted for the system goes to.
The daughter of the president, Zahra Buhari-Indimi is asking the same question.
Zahra, on her instastory questioned the state house permanent secretary on why the state clinic lacks basic medications.

Why isnt there simple paracetamol, gloves, syringes… why do the patients/staffs have to buy what they need in the state house clinic?
More than N3billion budgeted for the state house clinic and workers there don’t have equipments to work with? Why?
Where is the money going to? Medications only stocked once since the beginning of the year? Why?
Is this deliberate? Is it true that it’s a sabotage?
Its just unfair to individuals that need these facilities… a lady told me how much she needed the hospital…this is painful to watch
