How Ndidi Emefiele Is Redefining Women One Art At A Time
“In my art, I find ways to redefine the woman. A woman in this part of the world is not considered whole until she is legally attached to a man regardless of her contribution to society. Her hard work and independence is looked down upon.” – Ndidi Emefiele
Ndidi Emefiele holds a Bachelor of Arts in Painting from Delta State University and a master’s degree in Fine Art from Slade’s school of Art, UCL London. And has her studio set up in Abuja.
After graduating the university in 2007, she delved into the fashion industry and set up Didi by Kama.
She is a member of the “Society of Nigerian Artist” and the founder of Ndigo Art Gallery. Her works can be found in several public and private collections.
