Watch Kechi’s Moving Performance On The ‘America’s Got Talent’ Finale

Three months ago, 2005 Sosoliso plane crash survivor, Kechi Okwuchi, stormed her way unto the 12th season of America’s Got Talent with her powerful voice and unbreakable spirit – and following a string of moving performances, landed herself a place in the finals.

With $1 million and a headlining show in Las Vegas on the line, Kechi brought her A game for her final performance last night, singing Estelle’s power ballad, “Conqueror” – a song every Empire fan will remember fondly.

At the end of her performance, all four judges  – Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel – gave Kechi a standing ovation, visibly emotional over what they’d just witnessed.

Commenting on Kechi’s powerful performance, Simon said:

“I just love you and everything about you. That wasn’t a song, that was an anthem. 

We are only as good as the people that come on this show and I believe that you define us and everything I hoped and prayed this show would be.”

The final results of the competition will be announced later today – and you can already guess who we’re rooting for.
