Road To Yesterday 

This romantic story features veteran Nigerian actress, Genevieve Nnaji. Road to Yesterday is about a couple who are going through trying times in their marriage. They then decide to travel to their village and face some difficulty along the way. This gives the couple time to discuss some of their deepest issues and space to unpack their troubled marriage

Gone Too Far

This comedy chronicles a British raised youth, who meets his Nigerian brother for the first time. The brothers clash as a result of the cultural differences in their upbringing while they try to accept each other’s differences.

Invasion 1897

Less lighthearted than the rest of these movies, Invasion 1897 tells a story about the events leading to the fall of Oba Ovonramwen of the ancient Benin kingdom. The story is didactic and gives insight to this uncommonly known bit of Nigerian history.

Gbomo Gbomo Express

This movie will have you laughing one second and nervous the next. A dark comedy, telling a story about the kidnap of a record label exec, and a socialite. You definitely will not expect the plot twist that comes at the end!

The Wedding Party

I’m sure you’ve watched this one several times! If you have, watch it again, if you haven’t do yourself a favour – if for no other reason than for Sola Sobowale’s hilarious performance!
