Zara Larsson’s ‘Sundown’ Has The Best Wizkid Feature You’ve Never Heard

19-year-old Swedish singer-songwriter, Zara Larsson, first appeared on our collective radars in 2015 when she released “Never Forget You” with British-Nigerian artiste MNEK – landing both of them their first entries on the Billboard Hot 100.

Since then, Zara has released her sophomore studio album, So Good, to considerable acclaim; and we think her next single off that project should be “Sundown” featuring Wizkid – her second song with a Nigerian artiste.

While the sugary pop album is littered with songs that would make solid singles, we think the reggae-flecked “Sundown” is her surest bet at another charter; not just because it sounds like a track that would be an easy hit in Rihanna’s hands but because Wizkid is particularly excellent on it.

For most of 2017, Wizkid has been a great addition to a lot of songs – Kranium’s “Can’t Believe”, Wale’s “My Love” and KLY’s “Scrrr Pull UP” immediately come to mind – but we think his work on “Sundown” might actually be his best.

So, fingers crossed that when Zara Larsson’s team is trying to decide the next song off the album to make a single, the brilliant “Sundown” doesn’t get lost in the shuffle – because more people really need to hear this gem.
