Popcaan & Davido Turn Up For Snapchat In The Video For ‘My Story’

Is any Nigerian artiste having a better year, musically, than Davido? He has pretty much shined on every song he has been on – from his own singles (“If”, “Fall”) to even the littlest features (“Fine Girl”, “Summer Body”).

With all the impressive things Davido has done this year, one of the best still has to be his collaboration on “My Story” with Jamaican superstar, Popcaan. And the music video finally dropped.

Produced by Kiddominant and Mini, “My Story” is a brilliant fusion of dancehall and afropop that finds both artistes begging a girl for only 24 hours of her time – the length of a Snapchat story. The song also features some of the best vocals of Davido’s career.

The music video takes the song’s Snapchat analogy a bit more literally, with clips of Davido and Popcaan getting intercut with actual Snapchat stories and massive floating emojis.
