Toyin Abraham & Odunlade Adekola Are Comedy Gold In This Clip For ‘Celebrity Marriage’

A simple glance at the list of the most successful Nollywood movies of all time will make it very clear: we, as a nation, really love our relationship comedies.

The fact is if Nigerians aren’t guaranteed belly laughs intercut with relationship drama, they probably aren’t going to leave their homes to go see that movie. This is what makes Pascal Amanfo’s upcoming feature film, Celebrity Marriage, such a potential goldmine.

Casting two of the funniest Nollywood actors working today, Odunlade Adekola (Jenifa) and Toyin Abraham (Hakkunde), to play a bickering couple is such a brilliant move, we are a little shocked no one thought of it sooner.

The one-minute clip for the movie shows Odunlade and Toyin interrupted right in the middle of an argument by a friend who comes over to invite her to a pool party; the rest of the scene leaves us with Odunlade doing what he does best, delivering meme-able faces.
