Listen To Phyno And Flavour Shine On The Remix Of Wizkid’s ‘Medicine’
It’s been a pretty great week for fans of Wizkid’s music – especially fans of his older sound. Right on the heels of two brand new Masterkraft-produced singles, “Medicine” and “Oodo”, comes the remix of the former featuring the brilliant pairing of Phyno and Flavour.
Still held up by Masterkraft’s solid production, the remix opens up with Flavour’s inimitable voice as he alternates between Igbo and English on the first verse, before flowing into Wizkid’s unchanged parts from the original song.
From there we get yet another standout rap verse from Phyno – following his brilliant Wande Coal-assisted single “Zamo Zamo” and his work on Major Bangz’s “001” alongside Olamide, the “Fada Fada” rapper continues his 2017 winning streak.
It looks like Wizkid is keeping his word and dropping a bunch of Masterkraft-produced records (3 down, 17 to go) before he leaves Nigeria; and so far, they’ve all been pretty impressive. You can listen to the remix of “Medicine” below:
