Nigeria’s Drivertise turns your car into a money-spinning ads platform

If you’re searching a way to make extra money with your car other than putting it up for hire or joining one of the ride hailing/sharing services, you might want to try car advertising.

Car advertising provides a means, a cheaper one perhaps, for businesses to showcase their wares using regular, everyday cars driven by their owners.

This kind of service isn’t new to the world but Drivertise is bringing it to our backyard. Simply put, Drivertise wants to help turn your car into a money-spinning ads platform!

Drivertise matches car owners who want to make extra dough via carvertising (did I just create a new word?😎) with businesses who are looking to use carvertising to reach their consumers.

The adverts are placed on the body of the car using car wrapping which Drivertise says are safe, stylish and won’t leave stains and/or other physical defects when taken off the cars after the advertising campaign ends.

Drivertise stated its service is ideal for startups, small and medium scale businesses, and even big businesses looking for new channels to promote their products and services, and reach their customers.

They can choose from the different packages on offer – silver, gold and platinum – to reach their target audiences. These packages will see the cars to be used for the ad campaign wrapped either at the rear, side or completely with car wrappings bearing the companies’ products and/or services.

As with every ad campaign, there’s a need to know how effective it was. Drivertise installs a tracking device in every car on its platform to solve this.

The device tracks the cars during campaigns, getting vital information such as distance covered daily and monthly. This is prepared into an analytic report handed to Drivertise’s partnering brands and agencies.

Described as a social enterprise, Drivertise launched last month and is self-funded. Car owners and businesses can click here to find out more about the startup and how to benefit from its services.
