Betty Irabor has turned 60, and the media guru shows she can groove and have fun like all you young ones!

Last night, the Genevieve Magazine CEO threw a soul train-themed bash in Lagos, a glamourous event that was attended by top acts in the industry including Azuka Ogujiuba and Marcy Dolapo Oni.

In one of the videos, Betty Irabor and her husband, Soni showed off their dance-steps on stage, while the crowd cheered them from the background.

The couple have come a long way.

Last June, the activist took to her Twitter to narrate her quaint marriage to Soni Irabor at the Lagos Registry in 1984, saying that they had only a guest of about 20 because they couldn’t afford an elaborate event. “10 years later,  when could afford to, we renewed our vows with a big do,” she said.

“We celebrate two wedding anniversaries every year July 29th and September 30th(registry wedding and renewal of vows). 33 years later, we still dey” she added.

And last night, at Betty’s birthday party, the couple proved they are tested and tried as they danced, while fans watched and cheered them.
