In 2004, 2Face blessed us with African Queen from his Face to Face Album.
The album spread across Nigeria and went farther to countries in West Africa, South Africa, and even Europe, all thanks to his ‘African Queen’ song.
Now, 2Face has made a remix to the song all by himself and we’re shocked because we never saw it coming.
This new remix is the soundtrack to AY’s new movie ’10 Days In Sun City’ which stars AY, Adesua Etomi, Richard-Mofe Damijo, Mercy Johnson, Falz, Uti Nwachukwu, Gbenro Ajibade, Fathia Balogun, Yvonne Jegede and Alex Ekubo.
The movie is a potpourri of love, drama, passion and culture combined with generous portions of comedy. The movie is a feature-length comedy-drama that sees Akpos on another ‘adventure’, this time, to South Africa, with his girlfriend Bianca.
For the video to the remix of his ‘African Queen’ song, there are stills from the movie as well as clips from 2Face and Annie Idibia’s wedding.

The video, which was shot on the set of the movie in South Africa, feature clips from 2Baba’s 2013 Dubai wedding with his wife Annie.
The original song was the hit track of his 2004 ‘Face to Face’ album when he still went by the stage name 2Face before he eventually announced in 2014 that he should be addressed as 2Baba.
African Queen had gone on to achieve international acclaim and it is still currently being appreciated.
Most notably, it was a soundtrack in the 2006 American comedy film ‘Phat Girlz’ and has won several awards.
The song was remixed by him (2Baba) in 2015 with a faster tempo and additional lyrics and has maintained its status as the most popular song by 2Baba.
