Alex Okosi appointed executive vice president of Viacom Africa
Alex Okosi has been appointed executive vice president & managing director of Viacom Africa, home to BET, MTV Base, among others.

Before his promotion, Okosi was the senior VP and MD of the company.
Okosi is credited with leading the growth and expansion of the multimedia entertainment network in Africa.
He has been the driving force behind the growth of the MTV brand in Africa since 2005.
Apart from Okosi, Strini Naicker has been promoted to vice president, commercial and content distribution while Dillon Khan is now vice president, Comedy Central, Africa.
Chris Torline is the senior marketing & digital media director while Richard Hill will take on the new role of legal director.
Viacom Africa oversees MTV Base, MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Nickelodeon Jr., NickToons, VH1 Classic and BET on the African continent.
