President Bola Tinubu has unveiled the renovated Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts, formerly known as the National Arts Theatre in Lagos.

This, therefore, signifies the official reopening of the cultural landmark.

The renovation of the National Theatre was undertaken by the CBN and the Bankers’ Committee as part of their commitment to giving back to the nation.

President Tinubu arrived at the venue around 6:24 p.m. on Wednesday for the reopening ceremony and led a distinguished gathering of state governors, members of the National Assembly, the diplomatic corps, captains of industry, academics, cultural ambassadors, and youth leaders.
