Landmark Group partners with Enugu govt to transform the 50-hectare Nike Lake Resort

The Enugu State Government has entered into a 35-year lease agreement with Landmark Africa Group for the development of the 50-hectare Nike Lake Resort.

Governor Peter Mbah, described the initiative as a strategic move to boost the state’s tourism and investment sectors. The project is expected to transform the resort into a world-class tourism and leisure destination, attracting over three million visitors annually and significantly contributing to Enugu’s economic growth.

“We see this project as a strategic opportunity to position Enugu as a regional hub for tourism and business,” Governor Mbah said.

He also assured that the state would provide the necessary infrastructure to support the development. The collaboration aligns with the governor’s vision of sustainable development and improving the living standards of Enugu residents.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to making Enugu a better place for both residents and investors,” Mbah added.

Paul Onwuanibe, Managing Director of Landmark Africa Group, expressed gratitude for the opportunity and outlined the company’s plans for the resort.

“Our investment in Nike Lake Resort will not only elevate it to international standards but will also create significant employment opportunities for Enugu’s youth and drive economic growth,” he stated.

The project is expected to position Enugu as a major tourism and business hub in the region, enhancing its global appeal.
