FCT FA introduces six committees to boost football growth

The Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCT FA), Mouktar Mohammed, has announced the establishment of six standing committees aimed at transforming football development in the nation’s capital.

In a statement issued on Monday in Abuja, Mohammed outlines key roles these committees will play in driving and sustaining football growth across the FCT.

The committees include: the Technical and Development Committee, chaired by Bassey Patrick; the Competitions and Events Committee, led by Salihu Kolo; the Finance and Sponsorship Committee, headed by Dr. John Gabaya; the Ethics and Disciplinary Committee, under the leadership of Hashimu Adams; the Media and Public Relations Committee, chaired by Uche Nwudoh; and the Women’s Committee, led by Pat Ajuma.

Mohammed emphasized that each committee was carefully selected to include individuals with the requisite expertise and a passion for advancing FCT football.

“As we inaugurate these standing committees, we reaffirm our commitment to making football in the FCT a model for other regions,” he stated. “We are confident that the collaboration of all stakeholders will drive the sport to new heights.”
