Check Out This Video On All The Ways ‘Black Panther’ Should Have Ended
While Black Panther is easily one of the best superhero movies ever made – go argue with the critics if you disagree – it’s still far from a perfect movie. A fact that the guys at Honest Trailers were quick to point out in their clever review.
Now, the beloved Marvel hit has also gotten the How It Should Have Ended treatment – another popular YouTube series which points out gaping plot holes, character inconsistencies and gaps in logic that can be found in even the best Hollywood blockbusters.
The episode not only takes a hilarious jab at the movie’s thematic similarities with The Lion King by introducing T’Challa to a confused Mufasa, it also shows a few ways the two-hour movie could have ended a lot sooner.
They ask questions like, why did Okoye climb out of a bulletproof car while it was being shot at?; why didn’t T’Challa just use the car-disabling devices when Klaw was being rescued?; and why did T’Chaka leave his nephew behind in the first place?
Well, even with all those valid points the video raised, it’s hard to deny that Black Panther still manages to be one of the most grounded movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and we wouldn’t have had Ryan Coogler make it any other way.
