Watch The Video For Wizkid & Duncan Mighty’s New Track, ‘Fake Love’

A week ago, Wizkid and Duncan Mighty finally released their highly anticipated collaboration, “Fake Love”, and the track actually managed to live up to all the hype. Now they’ve dropped a Clarence Peters-directed video to give the track an extra push.

Produced by Killertunes — who’s been responsible for a lot of the jams we’ve gotten this year — “Fake Love” is a highlife-tinged banger that finds Duncan Mighty and Wizkid singing about an age-old celebrity problem: not knowing if someone’s only with them for the money and fame.

On the track, both singers want to know if their lovers will still be around if all their money suddenly disappears. “Shey you go dey when money no dey/Shey you go dey for me if I no pay”, Wizkid asks on his catchy verse.

The crisp but forgettable music video is exactly what you’d expect from a Clarence Peters clip: soaked in his signature colour scheme, drenched in blindingly bright lights and filled with scantily-clad women all dancing in slow motion.
