A few months ago, we reported that Lagos will be getting its first-ever Bridal Fashion Week (LBFW), and now it has come to pass. The Nigerian fashion industry has seen massive growth in recent years, and now it’s starting to branch out into different niches, which is a great measure of progress.

Over the weekend, Call Her Classic presented LBFW, which was a three-day showcase of all things bridal in Nigeria. From amazing masterclasses with top bridal designers such as Hudayya, Yemi Kosibah, Mai Atafo and more, to bridal consultations, LBFW was teeming with a lot of excitement. There were also bridal consultation rooms, where brides-to-be could speak to the designers.

The icing on the cake was definitely the runway showcase, which housed some of the best wedding designs we’ve ever seen from all over Africa. The aim of Lagos Bridal Fashion Week was to showcase the amazing talent we have over here, and that they did.
