Video: The First Teaser For Kemi Adetiba’s Upcoming Film, ‘King Of Boys’ is out
We’ve established a level of trust with Kemi Adetiba‘s work over time, as she directed great music videos such as Tiwa Savage’s “My Darling” and Waje’s “Onye”. She also brought on a platform, King Women, which uplifted bad ass ladies in society with the aim to inspire the rest of us.
That’s why we were so excited when, earlier this year, she announced her second feature film, King Of Boys — a follow-up to her acclaimed debut, The Wedding Party. Now, she has shared a cryptic teaser for the film that just rekindled the hype.
With no words or action, the teaser keeps us in the dark regarding the plot of the film, but from the setting and the tone of it, it seems like a suspense-filled thriller/drama. All we still know for sure is the star-studded cast of the movie, which includes Adesua Etomi, Reminisce, Sola Sobowale, Omoni Oboli, Osas Ighodaro, Zack Orji, Toni Tones, Ademola Adedoyin and others.
It’s also worth noting that she reunites with Adesua Etomi and Sola Sobowale, who played mother and daughter in The Wedding Party. While we don’t know anything else about the movie, we’re still sure we’ll enjoy it, and we’re looking forward to hearing more about it — hopefully, not a mere week before its release like most Nollywood films!
