Watch Adesua Etomi And Deyemi Okanlawon In The Suspense-Filled Trailer For ‘Date Night’
Thrillers in Nollywood usually have some diabolical influence – it usually involves a sleazy native doctor or a family member who doesn’t wish their successful cousin well.
We guess Nollywood is finally getting with the times and giving our thrillers more modern settings. A good example is the upcoming movie, Date Night, starring Adesua Etomi (The Wedding Party) and Deyemi Okanlawon (Royal Hibiscus Hotel).
Date Night tells the story of a playboy who is held hostage by the woman he brings home for the night, and it turns into a struggle for survival between the two. We usually only get to see both actors in rom-coms, which makes us extra excited to see what they bring to these roles.
From the trailer, we can’t tell what her intentions are, but she doesn’t seem to be working alone. We’re super intrigued by this storyline and are looking forward to watching the full film when it comes out. Hopefully, we are not disappointed!
