2Baba Releases Titular Soundtrack For Upcoming TV Series ‘In Love And Ashes’

A new drama series, In Love And Ashes is set to hit our screens via EbonyLife TV later on this week. In anticipation, 2Baba (a.k.a 2Face) has just released a stirring titular soundtrack, which sets the tone for what the show has to offer.

In Love And Ashes is a drama set in Maiduguri, which focuses on a narrative of hope in the face of disaster. Starring Patience Ozokwor, Charles Etubiebi, Nafisat Abdullahi, Sani Danja and others, the series tells a bittersweet tale, which highlights the challenges that plague communities and their inhabitants after experiencing violent extremism in the North.

With the titular track, 2Baba delivers a soul-stirring tune with thought-provoking lyrics, which mirror the state of our society today. He sings “never let the voice of defeat sing to you”, which is the message the entire series aims to send across to its audience. Produced by Kelly Handsome, the song is typical of 2Baba’s sound, where his lyrics promote a message of tolerance, unity and peace among Nigerians in trying times.
