Ice Prince Teams Up With DJ Spinall In The Video For New Song, ‘If I Tell You’

Last year, Ice Prince seemed to have officially kicked off his attempt at making a mainstream comeback, and he was more or less successful. His chorus on Major Lazer’s “Particula” was the best thing about the hit song; and he dropped one of his most enjoyable songs in a long while, “Replay”.

Now, after featuring on a couple of forgettable tracks with some relative up-and-comers, the rapper is back with his first single of the year, “If I Tell You” featuring DJ Spinall.

Produced by Autyno, “If I Tell You” is an up-tempo track that gives us ‘Ice Prince. the rapper’ and ‘Ice Prince, the singer’ in equal measure. And while we don’t see this song giving him the hit he needs to regain relevance, it’s definitely another step in the right direction.

Although the clip for “If I Tell You” was directed by SOS, the same guy who shot the stunning “Replay”, it’s nowhere near as visually striking. In fact, it’s pretty much the complete opposite: drab, uninspired and immediately forgettable.
