Listen: Mayorkun Hops On DNA’s Catchy New Love Song, ‘Adanma’

After winning Nigerians over on the first season of the hit reality singing competition, The Voice Nigeria, it didn’t take long for the DNA twins to get signed to Mavin Records — serving as a decidedly more mainstream alternative to the label’s other new acts, Ladipoe and Johnny Drille.

Since then, the brothers have dropped two singles — “How Can” and “Queen” — but neither of them were good enough to actually register. Well, with their brand new Mayorkun-assisted track, “Adanma”, it looks like the third time’s really the charm.

Produced by the talented Babyfresh (Tiwa Savage’s “All Over” and Reekado Banks’ “Problem”), “Adanma” is a really catchy love song that seems to find the twins finally embracing all those P-Square comparisons, instead of trying to distance themselves from it.

The song also greatly benefits from having the gifted Mayorkun on it. The “Che Che” singer continues his solid run of elevating every track he’s been featured on in the past couple of months. “Adanma” definitely feels like a potential hit.
