Watch The Video For Yemi Alade’s Latest Single, ‘Heart Robber’

Last year, Yemi Alade released her third studio album, Black Magic which featured 15 songs – 12 new and three familiar songs including “Knack Am”, “Single & Searching” featuring Falz and “Heart Robber” which she has just released a music video for.

“Heart Robber” was one of the standout tracks on the album, and in typical Yemi Alade fashion, she’s singing about being in love, however, this sound is quite different to the Yemi we’re used to. The slow-tempo beat leaves room for Yemi’s strong vocals to shine, and makes the flirty lyrics stand out more.

In the dark and broody video directed by Clarence Peters, Yemi Alade exudes a flirty energy which matches the lyrics. This is especially highlighted where she is wearing a red dress and singing sultrily into a bedazzled microphone.
