Video: Falz Ft. Wande Coal – Way. The Song Way finds Falz and Wande Coal sharing their views on education

About three months ago, Falz pulled a Beyoncé on us and dropped 27 — a surprise album that came without any warning. Now, he is back with the music video for one of the album’s standout tracks, “Way” featuring the brilliant Wande Coal.

Produced by the talented Sess — who worked on most of the album’s tracks — “Way” finds Falz and Wande Coal sharing their views on education. The main gist of the track is the fact that education doesn’t necessarily always translate to success or even wisdom.

“Me, I made it on one endorsement/Five point GP from the onset/So you mean you still dey find employment?”, Falz raps on the first verse. Then on the chorus, Wande Coal sings, “Eni to mọ way lo mowe”  — which roughly means “the person who knows the way is the person that’s really smart”.

The music video, which was directed by Mex Films, is kind of a beautiful mess. There are a lot of stunning scenes and vibrant colours, but the whole thing doesn’t really come together to form a coherent message.

Off his “27” surprise album that was released on his birthday in October 2017, rapper Falz comes through with the visuals to one of the many standout tracks off the LP.

The fan favourite is entitled “Way” and it features the one and only Wande Coal, the video was directed by Mex Films.
