Simi, Adekunle Gold to headline ‘biggest live music concert in Nigeria’

Simi, Praiz and Adekunle Gold are the headlining acts for outdoor music concert, 100% Live.

According to its organisers, 100% Live will be the biggest live music concert in Nigeria.

100% Live is expected to feature alternative and mainstream music artistes known for their unique styles and genres.

The concert is set to take place on February 18 at Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Adenike Odutola, project coordinator, gave a glimpse of what to expect from the concert.

“Before recorded sound was invented, all music was live. Today, most people only listen to recorded music most of the time,” he said.

“Still, the experience of a live music performance cannot be compared with one cooked in a studio.

“Too much tweaking can make for soulless, boring music, which is why we want to delight music fans by bringing them in direct contact with the artists in an unfettered, relaxed and unedited setting, enjoying and experiencing real music in all its untainted glory.”
