D’Tunes Teams Up With Olamide On New Love Song, ‘Titilailai’
The talented D’Tunes is mostly known as a music producer — he is responsible for monster hits such as Iyanya’s “Kukere” and Sean Tizzle’s “Sho Lee”.
Well, the saying “if it’s not broken, don’t fix it” clearly doesn’t apply to him, as he has kicked off 2018 with a shift from producer to artist, and his first indication of this is his new love song featuring Olamide: “Titilailai”
“Titilailai” is a mid-tempo love song, where the pair sing promises of love to their significant other – Olamide’s lyrics are even understandable (not haphazard), which is a very pleasant surprise. The beat is made up of guitars and horns, making it a truly perfect Yoruba serenade.

D’Tunes released this song ahead of his forthcoming LP, Songs About Love which will feature many of Africa’s biggest talents and musical exports. If this song is anything to go by, we really won’t be upset with this body of work!
