Watch and Download : B-Red and Tiwa Savage Team Up On New Single, ‘Connect’
We forgot that B-Red made music for a sec, as his status as Davido’s friend/cousin definitely overshadows his music. In 2016, he released an album, All The Way Up which #cameandwent, however he made quite a strong comeback last year with tracks like “Fall For You” and “Uju”.
Now, he has kicked off his 2018 on the same kind of energy with a new track featuring Tiwa Savage, “Connect“.
“Connect” is a jam and we won’t hold back about saying that! It has all the trappings of a Nigerian song that is likely to blow: fast-tempo beat, haphazard lyrics that are catchy enough to learn quickly and a feature from a big-time musician. Tiwa Savage is not at her best in this song which is disappointing, because she was on a musical roll all last year. That is not to say she did badly, as we will still be jamming to the song.
The video is exactly what most music videos look like these days – cool neon flashing lights and a party scene. The song is definitely better than the video, listen to it here:
