Ycee Teams Up With Eugy For First Single Of 2018, ‘Say Bye Bye’

The talented Ycee had a deservingly solid 2017. His Maleek Berry-assisted single, “Juice” was one of the biggest songs of the year, and his First Wave EP offered fans a glimpse of what to expect from him in the future.

With his first single of 2018, the wavy “Say Bye Bye” featuring Ghana’s Eugy, Ycee continues to prove he is one of the most exciting and versatile newcomers in the game.

Produced by Team Salut, “Say Bye Bye” is the second collaboration between Ycee and Eugy. Last year, Ycee hopped on Eugy’s solid “Give It To Me”, which was also produced by Team Salut, but “Say Bye Bye” is undeniably the stronger track.

Just like he did on the “Juice”, Ycee spends most of “Say Bye Bye” trying to win the affections of a girl with promises of love and fidelity. Following Ycee’s lead on his solid verse, Eugy continues his streak of slyly elevating songs by Nigerian artists.

With such a strong start to the year, we hope Ycee keeps coming through with the hits. While we are not sure if we should be expecting another solo body of work from him anytime soon, we are pretty excited to hear what he does on his label’s upcoming compilation album.
