Watch The Colour-Soaked Video For Reekado Banks & Tiwa Savage’s ‘Like’
To celebrate his 24th birthday, a month ago, the talented Reekado Banks dropped the addictive “Like” featuring Tiwa Savage and acclaimed guitarist, Fiokee. Now, the song finally has a colourful video which should hopefully get a lot more eyes and ears on it.
His third single of 2017, following “Kiss Me” and “Easy (Jeje)”, the Del B-produced “Like” is definitely the strongest of the three. It’s also the second collaboration between Reekado Banks and Tiwa Savage — the first being Reekado’s impressive debut single under Mavin Records, “Turn It Up”.
“Like” finds Reekado Banks in his element — singing about a woman — and just like most of his biggest songs, the best thing here is the chorus. On it, Reekado namedrops three of 2017’s biggest stars, Wizkid, Davido and Tiwa Savage, seamlessly working in their most recent hits.
The trippy music video, which was directed by Clarence Peters, might actually be Reekado’s best yet. While it’s not particularly coherent, it’s definitely stunning. It also features Tiwa Savage doing her best to channel Beyoncé in “Dance For You” — which ends up being quite unintentionally hilarious.
