Coachella 2018: Wizkid, Jidenna to perform as Eminem, Beyonce headline
Ayo ‘Wizkid’ Balogun and Jidenna Mobisson have been included among the lineup of performers for Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Simply known as Coachella, the festival holds yearly in California and it features performances from some of the world’s biggest artistes.

The Weeknd and Eminem join Beyonce as headliners of the 2018 festival. The ‘Formation’ singer was forced to pull out in 2017 following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule.
Beyonce, who was pregnant with twins Sir and Rumi at the time, was later replaced by Lady Gaga.
The 2018 Coachella festival will hold from Friday, April 13 to Sunday, April 22.
Some of the other artistes performing at the festival include Tyler the Creator, David Byrne, Post Malone, Fleet Foxes, Black Madonna, Vincent Staples, Jean Michel, Benjamin Clementine, Black Coffee, Daniel Caesar, Kali Uchis, Migos, French Montana, Cardi B, and Miguel.
Wizkid had a successful 2017 with respect to taking Nigerian music international. He ended the year winning a number of international awards.
The Nigerian singer’s biggest hit of 2017 ‘Come Closer’ was recently included among BET’s top 17 music videos of last year.
‘Come Closer’ which features Canadian rapper Drake came in at number eight on the list.
It was the lead single off his ‘Sounds From The Other Side’ EP project.
