Watch The Video For Tekno’s Newest Love Song, ‘Only One’

A few days ago, we reported that a Tekno and Drake collaboration seemed to be in the works. While nothing concrete has been announced about that yet, it hasn’t stopped Tekno from doing what he does best: releasing yet another love song.

The newest track to join Tekno’s ever-growing list of songs about women is “Only One”, and it even comes with the typical uninspired music video.

While Tekno released “Only One” to mark his 25th birthday (kinda like Davido did with “Like Dat” and Reekado Banks with “Like”), the Legendury Beatz-produced track is sadly one of the weaker efforts we’ve gotten from him this year.

“Only One” rehashes the same themes Tekno has explored on almost every song he has released since he got his big break. The only thing that feels slightly fresh about the song is the production — Legendury Beatz, thankfully, don’t seem interested in creating another “Pana” lite.

The music video, which was directed by Patrick Ellis, just feels like leftover footage from his “Go” video. It really just features more of the same: flashy cars, beautiful women and Tekno’s awkward dance moves.
