Mr Eazi Finally Drops The Official Video For ‘Pour Me Water’
A month ago, Mr Eazi took a break from pissing Nigerians off to drop his first official single of 2017, “Pour Me Water”. He followed the song’s release with a trippy dance video that has already racked up over a million views on YouTube.
Now, he has finally dropped the official music video for the song, and it’s filled with sharp colours, vibrant costumes and cute choreography.
Produced by E Kelly — the man behind one of Mr Eazi’s biggest and best songs, “Leg Over” — “Pour Me Water” is a mid-tempo track that finds Mr Eazi trying to recreate the mellow magic of his most beloved hits, and he kinda succeeds.
While “Pour Me Water” is really nowhere near as good as any of those songs, it should more than satiate fans who feel the artist veered too far off course with his “experimental” mixtape, Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra To Lagos.
“Pour Me Water” is the lead single off his upcoming EP, Who Is Mr Eazi?, and if the song is anything to go by, it seems Mr Eazi might actually be returning to the sound that won him so many fans in the first place.
