This Is How Hilda Dokubo Sees The Recent Fracas Between The Former And Present Governors Of Rivers State
It is well-known that the former and present governors of Rivers state, Rotimi Amaechi and Nyeson Wike are not best of friends as they attack each other at any given opportunity.
The matter, however, came to a head when Amaechi and Wike’s convoy ran into each other and they had a fracas in broad daylight with one of Amaechi’s security guard left in his blood while the other was forcefully disarmed.
Nollywood actress, Hilda Dokubo has weighed in on this matter and has given her two cents about the men.
According to her, the men have been behind the state’s underdevelopment because of their egos.
She said,
“11th November has been baptised into national day of disgraceful impunity by Amaechi and Wike. These two men are the biggest beneficiaries of the governance system of Rivers state. Today, they are the reason for our underdevelopment, insecurity, destruction of property and loss of lives.
Their security men will now pull government weapon against themselves and their media people will now feast on it as though they have just won a trophy and some people will actually justify this rubbish on the grounds of politics and political divide, you all need to stop. It is time for the two of you to drop this hate and the display of arrogance and ego tripping.
Rivers state needs to move forward and Rivers state is bigger than the two of you and if you are a Rivers man or woman out there supporting this rubbish, shame on you.”
