Tiwa Savage And Wizkid Turn Up At The New Afrika Shrine For ‘Ma Lo’ Video

After dropping a 40-second teaser that got us all considerably hyped, Tiwa Savage has finally released the music video for the best song off her acclaimed Sugarcane EP: “Ma Lo” featuring Wizkid and Spellz.

The second collaboration between the two superstars – the first being “Bad” – “Ma Lo” is easily one of the best songs of the year, thanks to both Tiwa and Wizkid being at the top of their games. It’s not all on them though, Spellz’s hypnotic production also deserves a ton of praise.

For the music video, which was directed by the brilliant Meji Alabi, we get to see the Kuti’s New Afrika Shrine like we’ve never seen it before. The vibrant clip not only focuses on Tiwa and Wizkid – who both ooze charisma – but makes this iconic landmark as much a star as both of them.

So, now that “Ma Lo” has gotten a music video as stunning as the song itself, we are pretty sure that it’s destined to be Tiwa Savage’s most successful single (of all time) – and it totally deserves to be, it’s really that amazing.
